Concept of the month May 2011: INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

This side up, please. Please keep the large side straight. Repeated exposure to sunlight can cause fire hazard. Please hold on to this information for future reference. This is my month of instructions for use.

They say some people come with instructions for use. I think that goes for everyone. Itís just that one shows it more than the other. I recall how a Basque housemate once came up to me laughing and said in broken English: ďLast night, Pepijn very drunk. All doors, bang bang.Ē I didnít understand him until I got to know him better.

Although I have translated my share of instructions for use, I refuse to read them myself. My blinkered self only plays up when I see one I donít need. However, after buying a new device, I prefer operating it by experiment. I like pressing all those buttons to see what happens. Just as I like to do with people.

This device operates independently. Please ask experts to remove the packaging before discarding it. These instructions for use contain guidelines only. Please switch on and off regularly to keep the system running. Overheating for long periods of time will void the warranty.
