Concept of the month June 2010: FUZZ

This month, two major events have finally taken off: the World Cup of football and a hot summer. The sun is smothering, tubes are singing. Meanwhile, fuzz is celebrating its heyday. Everywhere across my street and park it is drifting by. My nose is somewhat bothered. Worlds apart from another Fuzz. This one –up to date- is making another Nose extremely happy.

Drifting past his opponents, Diego Armando Maradona delivered the World Cup to Argentina in 1986 with a haircut that seemed to consist of fuzz. Today, dancing by the dugout, he’s close to glory again as the national manager. Back in 1986, this position was held by Carlos ‘The Nose’ Bilardo. He is still considered to be Diego’s football father. And The Fuzz made The Nose proud as ever.

As mentioned before, my nose is in a less than ecstatic state because of the summer fuzz. However, the World Cup and the hot air make it all right again. And even though I obviously wish them to lose to the Orange in the final, I might be smiling if Argentina claims the world title. Because that’s Fuzz glory taught by a Nose.
